Gorman received written notification after R Booth, the referee at the Moss Rose Stadium, mentioned the incident and the resulting war of words between Gorman and Macclesfield boss Brian Horton after the final whistle.

Horton was enraged after Gorman and several others joined the in celebrations after the Chairboys thought they had rescued a point with a late equaliser. The Macclesfield manager gyrated in front of the distraught Wycombe bench when his own side regained the lead moments later.

The FA reminded Gorman that if he leaves his technical area in similar circumstances again, he would be dealt with accordingly.
