Who will captain the blues in 2007/2008?

With the departure of Tommy Mooney to Walsall, we here at Wanderers mad will run you through our top 5 contenders for the armband next term.
Sam Stockley - The fans favourite for the captaincy and a real leader. Since joining Wycombe he has given nothing but 110%, but even when Mooney was not captain last season or had been substituted he ws never given the armband. Although he has the leadership ability and the fans would love to see him lead the club forwards, it remains to be seen if the staff have the same faith given that he had been at the heart of a few costly errors late in last seasons campaign and was involved in costant confrontation with Wanderers GK Jamie Young. Chances out of 10 to be given the job - 7/10
Will Antwi - A leader by example, not so much of a shouter and screamer on the pitch but leads by example and does not put a foot wrong. Has been given the captaincy a few times last season and is a darkhorse for the role. Chances out of ten - 9/10
Matt Bloomfield - Through sheer effort alone he deserves the chance, a top quality player but would he command the respect of his team mates? Always gives everything everytime he wears the shirt but whether that is enough remains to be seen. Recently signed a new deal at the club after interest from Ipswich so the manager may reward him for that. Although young he does have a good chance. 7/10
Mike Williamson - Probably the outstabnding candidate IF he didnt have a serious injury until december time. Wycombe through and through now and is sure to given the chance soon with the armband. A tough tackling leader and a real character in the squad, his presence made sure Wycombe were commanding at the back, results proved this theory correct when he became injured we only must 2 wins and let in double the amount of gaols we did with him on the pitch. Chance out of ten - 9.5/10
David McCracken - The new boy is probably the best chance of getting the job from all of the players we have bought in. Has a fine Scottish top flight pedigree and is a real character. Chance out of ten - 8/10
