Midfielder Gareth Ainsworth has pledged to give his all as Wycombe strive to escape from the relegation zone in League One. The 36-year-old re-joined Wanderers on a free transfer on deadline day after an earlier loan spell and he is keen to keep the fight going at Adams Park. He told the club's official website: "I know it's not a perfect situation being in the bottom four but it's a situation which I won't ever turn my back on. "I'll give it a right fight and believe me I'll give everything I possibly can to help Wycombe survive. "I could have retired but I've kept myself fit all through my career and to be able to play for another 18 months is something I really wanted to do."
