Blues lose their way

Notts County, a side intent on securing their league safety, inflicted further upset on the home support four days after beating Mansfield 4-1 in front of less than a hundred travelling fans.

"I was a bit nervous before the Notts County match because everyone I think was expecting a win after the fine win at Mansfield, but like I said County deserved the win.

"I’m not expecting games to be easy but you’ve got to follow on a result like we got at Mansfield with another good performance.

"We are playing better away from home at the moment and that is disappointing because we want to give our supporters something to cheer about. It seems to be normal now to play well away and get a result and then be poor at home.

"We huffed and puffed on Saturday and didn’t play our normal game. They (Notts County) weathered our early storm and then hit us and you can’t take anything away from them because they deserved it," said Gorman.
