Wycombe are set to recall winger Gareth Ainsworth to the starting line-up, after he set up two goals in the 2-0 win at Stevenage last weekend.
Defender Dave Winfield has recovered from illness, while midfielder Ian Westlake may also feature.
Burton manager Paul Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby:
"It would be lovely to have a break [for the internationals] as we only have a small staff working here, but we're not moaning.
"I'm not going to deny that the league is the big thing for us and it is important we defend our unbeaten home record against Wycombe.
"The majority of Wycombe players that played in League One are still there so we have to make sure we contain them."
