Steve Claridge scored four times in the last three, who is also bringing out the best in fellow strikers Nathan Tyson and Ian Stonebridge.

Despite running out eventual 4-1 winners away at Mansfield Town on Tuesday night, Wycombe went behind first yet again. However, the Chairboys came back into the game courtesy of a brace from Claridge, which included a penalty.

The 38-year-old striker partnered Ian Stonebridge in both games. The former Plymouth Argyle hitman, who is playing with confidence once again, netted his third goal of the season at Field Mill.

"Ian’s very easy to read. He keeps the ball and retains possession. We linked very well against Mansfield," said Claridge.
