The 22-year-old scored his 13th goal of the season, his second in two games, moments before pulling up with a hamstring injury.

Wycombe manager John Gorman is understood to be showing an interest in former Wycombe striker Michael Malcolm. The 19-year-old who won six caps at England Under 15 level joined Spurs in March 2000.

A Wycombe reserve side that included Mike Williamson, Mark Philo, and David Perpetuini drew 0-0 in a friendly with Tottenham on Wednesday.

"John Gorman brought a very enthusiastic, young side who made it difficult for us," said Spurs reserve team coach Clive Allen.

Paul Barnes featured for the Chairboys in the friendly at Spurs Lodge. The 23-year-old forward was handed a trial by the club after netting 39 goals in 36 appearances for Southern league side Barton Rovers.
