Gorm's Galacticos!

With only four wins at home out of a possible 15, the Causeway hasn’t really resembled the Bernabeu this season.

However, according to zany Wycombe boss John Gorman there are similarites between the Buckinghamshire outfit and David Beckham & co.

"I feel as though we’re playing like Real Madrid at times. We pass the ball and play good football. I’ve said from day one that long ball football is not my style of play," said Gorman

The closest Gorman is likely to get to seeing stylish continental football ever again is if he offers a contract to David Perpetuini. At least the former Watford and Gillingham player, who is currently training with the Wycombe squad, can bring his Italian descendancy into the mix.

"I spoke to David’s agent today (Wednesday) and we’re waiting to see what happens but I’d like him to be part of us," said Gorman.
