Nethercott misses cup tie

Having been recalled to the side for the LDV Vans defeat on Tuesday night, Nethercott was withdrawn with a head injury that required stitches, inside the opening twenty minutes.

The 1-0 reverse at Bristol Rovers was Keith Ryan's last game in charge as caretaker manager.

"We were beaten by the better side and I had hoped for an improved second half performance after starting the game so poorly, but it didn't happen," he said.

Luton Town will go into Saturday's FA Cup second round tie against Wycombe in confident mood having won five out of their nine league game on the road to date.
