Claridge had played four games for John Gorman’s side since joining on loan from Brentford a month ago, while Perpetuini had initially agreed to join the Chairboys on a non-contract basis at the end of last month.

"I’d like to see what it’s like for us to go a goal up especially at home. We make it difficult for ourselves mentally every week by going a goal behind," said Claridge.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Anthony Peroni from Team Bath has been on trial at the club this week.
