Port Vale boss Micky Adams told BBC Radio Stoke: "I said at the start of the season that Wycombe were always going to be challenging for a top three finish.
"It's a big game and we've responded well every time we've had a big game.
"We're enjoying our season and I think the supporters are enjoying it too."
Wycombe Wanderer manager Gary Waddock told BBC Three Counties Radio: "It will be a big test for us, they've had a very good start to the season.
"I'm sure Micky Evans will be pleased with the start, they're in a very healthy position in the league and we know how strong a side they are.
"I'm sure he'll be delighted with the start they've had."
