Taylor started as Wycombe boss and declared he wants to build up and improve the current team that will entertain and progress towards promotion from League 2 and beyond.
"We want to start building, we want to make things happen and there are plenty of decisions to be made," he told the club's official website.
"I think I can help players improve and I think we will have an organised team.
"The supporters will enjoy seeing the side play. I want a good relationship with players and supporters and I want a good relationship between players and supporters.
"You've always got a chance if everybody goes for the same thing - if we all pull in the same direction we have a real good chance.
"I've always felt Wycombe Wanderers were a good football club, everybody trusts each other and everyone wants the same thing."
