Wadd a fine display from Bull

The home side extended their unbeaten run to nine matches but will be wondering what they needed to do to score after twice hitting the woodwork in the second half as well as running into an inspired Bull.

Guy Branston crashed a 46th-minute header off the inside of the upright and then late substitute Ronan Murray flashed a header onto the underside of the crossbar.

Waddock said: "To come here and keep a clean sheet and get a point is a very good point. Obviously we rode our luck because they have hit the woodwork twice and Nikki Bull has pulled off a couple of saves. Torquay are a very good side and to pick up a point on the road is a very good result.

"Bucks [Torquay manager Paul Buckle] said to me during the course of the game 'if you want to get rid of Bully I will have him'. Bully's been outstanding this season and we keep saying it week after week. What can you say about the guy?

"He has been magnificent and he showed again he's an outstanding goalkeeper - and that's why Bucks won't be having him."
