Wycombe manager Gary Waddock will wait on defender Dave Winfield before naming his squad to travel to Stockport. Winfield made his debut in the 2-0 win over Morecambe last weekend but suffered a hamstring pull which ruled him out of the Carling Cup defeat to Millwall in midweek. The former Aldershot man will be assessed before the trip north, with Leon Johnson on standby to start if required. Johnson played the full 120 minutes against the Lions after recovering from a dead leg and is fit to face the Hatters. Left-back Andy Sandell featured for the first time since his move from Aldershot as a substitute in midweek and could start while forward Stuart Beavon is close to a return after breaking his leg at the back-end of last season. Captain Gareth Ainsworth is also available to return after being rested for the cup tie.
