Winning run comes to an end

In the absence of injured forward Nathan Tyson, it was left to Steve Claridge to score his second goal in as many games as Wycombe took their unbeaten run to three games.

Club captain Roger Johnson, who was only playing after a successful against his red card last week was denied a late chance to earn maximum points for the home side.

"It was a point gained rather than two lost but I thought we created enough chances to win the game. We had a very well executed free kick headed over by Roger Johnson that could’ve had us a head at half time. Roger will be disappointed not to have scored," said assistant manager Steve Brown.
