Wycombe Wanderers owner Steve Hayes has moved to rubbish doubts about the club's transfer plans.The owner hit back at reports that boss Gary Waddock had built his aspirations around striker Alex Revell who chose to join Leyton Orient over the Chairboys.
Hayes told the club website: "To say the loss of one player has thrown our preparations into chaos is ridiculous."
Waddock added: "I'm disappointed Alex chose Leyton Orient but it's football, we have plenty more irons in the fire."
The Chairboys manager has only two recognised forwards on the books at Adams Park, Jon-Paul Pittman and Stuart Beavon, after Matt Harrold was allowed to leave the club.

Reports have linked Wycombe with moves for 34-year-old Jamie Cureton, who was recently released by Norwich, and Brentford's Ben Strevens, as they look to bounce back to League One following relegation this season.
