Wycombe V AFC Wimbledon at Adams Park - Match Preview

Wycombe midfielder Joel Grant faces a late fitness test ahead of Saturday's 125th anniversary game against AFC Wimbledon at Adams Park.

A tight hamstring forced manager Gary Waddock to replace Grant after 84 minutes in Tuesday's 3-2 defeat at Exeter City.

Dean Morgan, who scored his first goal for the club at St James Park, is in line to make his home debut, while defender Leon Johnson is available again after serving a one-game suspension.

Cardiff City loanee Elliot Parish will start in goal once more as Nikki Bull continues to struggle with a thigh strain.

Midfielder Matt Bloomfield will not recover from a groin problem in time for the fixture, but could be available for next Saturday's trip to Dagenham & Redbridge.

Sam Wood (knee ligaments) and striker Dennis Oli (ankle) remain long-term absentees.

Managerless AFC Wimbledon will be without a host of players for the trip to Wycombe, their first game since Terry Brown was sacked.

Winger Christian Jolley and striker Jack Midson are suspended while defender Pim Balkestein is a major doubt after suffering a groin injury in Brown's final game in charge against Torquay on Tuesday.

Skipper Mat Mitchel-King is still struggling with a back problem and full-backs defenders Jim Fenlon and Curtis Haynes-Brown are short of fitness.

Defenders Curtis Osano (ankle) and Callum McNaughton (cruciate) and forward Jason Prior (broken leg) are still out.

First-team coach Simon Bassey is in temporary charge after Brown, who guided the Dons to three promotions in five years, was axed on Wednesday following a run of six defeats in seven matches.
