Morgan to miss out for Chairboys

Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth is set to be without top scorer Dean Morgan for the visit of promotion-chasing Fleetwood.

The striker hobbled off during the Boxing Day defeat by Newport with a hamstring injury and is expected to miss out on Sunday.

Ainsworth threatened to ring the changes following that 1-0 reverse, which could open the door for the likes of Billy Knott and Matt McClure.

Paris Cowan-Hall is in line to start after proving his fitness off the bench but Steven Craig will not feature having been ruled out for six weeks.

Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander is hoping his team can halt a run of three straight defeats without scoring a goal when they visit Adams Park.

Despite having an almost fully-fit squad, the Cod Army have hit a poor run of form which has seen them lose ground on league-leaders Chesterfield and could prompt Alexander to change things around.

Defenders Nathan Pond and Junior Brown have been pushing for recalls in recent weeks while strikers Jon Parkin and Daniel Carr, on loan from Huddersfield, came off the bench in the 1-0 Boxing Day defeat to Morecambe and could feature more prominently.

Fellow frontman Jamille Matt is the only expected absentee as he continues to nurse an ankle injury.
