Striker Craig Faulconbridge netted his sixth goal of the season to move to the top of the Wycombe scoring charts as the Chairboys condemned play-off chasing Swindon to their biggest home defeat of the season.

Faulconbridge wrapped up the points for Wycombe 17 minutes from time to add to goals from club captain Keith Ryan and midfielder Dannie Bulman.

Play-off chasing Swindon began the brighter with Australian international Danny Invincibile and top scorer Sam Parkin both coming close early on.

Striker Parkin was unlucky not to bag his 19th of the season against a side he came close to joining in the summer.

Parkin, who was priced out of a move to Adams Park by Chelsea before joining Swindon, was only denied by a last gasp interception from Wycombe defender Andy Thomson after being fed by Invincibile 16 minutes in.

Parkin's misery was compounded just nine minutes later when the versatile Ryan, playing at left wing back, opened the scoring for the visitors.

Ryan scrambled home from close range after midfielder Steve Brown had seen his header cannoned back off the Swindon crossbar.

Former Swindon centre back Thomson was on hand to deny Parkin again 15 minutes before half time when he blocked the striker's goal bound effort from four yards out.

Winger Bulman doubled Wycombe's lead 12 minutes after half time when he converted his fourth goal of the campaign.

Bulman calmly slotted the ball past Swindon goalkeeper Bart Griemink from 12 yards out after racing on to Stuart Roberts' through ball.

Invincibile came within a whisker of pulling one back for Swindon when he sent a ferocious right-foot shot against the Wycombe crossbar from 30 yards.

Wycombe rode their luck in the closing stages before Faulconbridge wrapped up the points with a close range header after Brown had crossed from the right to make it 3-0.
