Swansea City recorded their third away league victory of the season as a very professional performance saw them win 1-0 at league leaders Wycombe Wanderers.

The Swans took all three points thanks to Andy Robinson's opportunism after just 13 minutes.

This proved to be the main talking point of a drab 45 minutes with the home side having the majority of the possession, but the visitors taking much better advantage of theirs.

The goal came on 13 minutes following a 35-yard thunderbolt free-kick from ex-Swindon defender Andy Gurney.

The shot was spilt by Wycombe goalkeeper Frank Talia on the slippery surface and Robinson anticipating well and slid in to score.

Tony Adams had to make changes in the second half and a double substitution on 58 minutes was the catalyst for a much improved Chairboys performance.

However, the closest they came to finding what in truth was an undeserved equaliser came when Gurney headed against his own crossbar on 66 minutes.

The table-topping hosts huffed and puffed but in reality never looked like blowing the visitors' house down.
